Nice! That guy has some serious skills! Great at 2d AND 3d! Best of luck to you - i'd love to have some of my work turned into figures, but its a lot harder than you would think. You have to make all sorts of promises about selling X amount of figures to recoup production costs. ( View formatted comment » )

Nice exclusive! Cool looking figure - i like ones in dynamic poses with lots of clothy stuff going on. Call me odd, but i actually prefer figures unpainted! I just love seeing all the detail on them, and you can make it out a lot better when its uncoloured. Nice to see the sculptor has the max factory kasumi on his/her desk! Its one of my all-time favourite figures. ( View formatted comment » )

Live action bebop movie?? Youre joking, right? Got a link as proof? If they were making another animated movie, than that would be ace. The bebop movie was superb. ( View formatted comment » )

Dammit, first the mikuru figma, now this! Im finding it harder and harder to resist buying these. I usually hate poseable figures as i dont 'play' with them, they come with loads of bits, and theyre generally not as good quality as a decent static posed figure. ( View formatted comment » )

So does this mean that 360 owners will throw a hissy fit and moan about namco 'betraying' 360 owners by releasing this on another platform? I always found it strange that they didnt release it on a japanese console earlier to be honest. Im not that bothered about the game either way - it looks great, but its gameplay and core principles seem a little dubious to me. ( View formatted comment » )

I kinda thought that too. If i was a japanese national, i would be miffed if all the latest figures sold out because of the demand for those pseky gaijin otaku! ( View formatted comment » )

Holy crap, youre right! I managed to find it, and its sold out even before its listed on the front page! What the hell? Is there some secretive society that pre-orders these things en masse before theyre even common knowledge? ( View formatted comment » )

Really?!? I just looked on there and its not listed at all. I know what you mean though - the freeing figures sell out lethally fast. I was minutes too late for the haruhi one (the best one!) and ended up paying about £130 for one on ebay :-/ ( View formatted comment » )

Damn, those food pics are making me drool! That sushi is unbelievably cheap - £4?!?! Nice to see the johnathans menus too - i never went in there as it looked too american/ british to bother with. Curry fair sound ace though - i eat spicy stuff all the while! As for games, i complete all the games i buy, and unless theyre particularly great, i sell them straight after i have gotten as many unlockables/ achievements as i can. ( View formatted comment » )

Wow - thats ace! Unfortunately, i have sold all of my FREEing bunnies (except haruhi) due to lack of space and needing of money. Ill keep my eye on the online shops to bag a pre-order of this though - it looks ace. I was hoping she would be in this pose as its based on that illustration of them all in bunny costumes. Hm, without the trooper costume, it just seems like blatant attention seeking, and embarrasing gaijin folks in Tokyo! ( View formatted comment » )

Nice post. I was well keen on working in the 3d industry in Tokyo - even if its just for a year), but the shitty things that have happened at home over the last 7 months have put an end to that. I do hope to pursue it soon though. As you said - life is too short. ( View formatted comment » )

I think shes singing the theme from that popular english learning game 'mojipittan'. Its a mega catchy tune, and i couldnt believe i heard it in lucky star as ive been playing that tune in Taiko no tatsujin for years, and didnt know what it was! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHwxgBHVLH4 ( View formatted comment » )

Nice pose, and the face is a good likeness, but the last 'one legged' alter figure i brought (the mikuru waitress one) was the worst leaner i ever owned! ( View formatted comment » )
