No dice for me until Dis Astranagant comes along. That's the only original I care enough about to buy, besides its predecessors, the Werkbau and Astranagant. I suppose the new Shrouga would make a phenomenal kit too, even if it's a retooled Cybuster in both design and supposedly background. ( View formatted comment » )

Don't worry about Gravion. With energy save and decently upgraded it's one of the biggest hitters in the game. With six pilots, that's six spirit lists to use. He also gets even better after a latter upgrade. Anyone with trouble using Gravion isn't playing it right. ( View formatted comment » )

You get God Gravion as a full on mecha after about stage 25 though. And just use snipe. Gravion's best attack has a pretty good range. ( View formatted comment » )

AC6 has some really epic scenes in it. The first mission is one my favorites just for the massive air battle and the scene where Talisman takes off. I hope AC7, hopefully for the 360 too, will have more planes and missions but I'm satisfied with AC6. ( View formatted comment » )

Aquarion and Gravion are total beasts, yeah. That Mugen Punch with fourteen squares of range is godly for taking out bosses. Not to mention Solar Aquarion's Mugen Cross, post movement what the hell are you nuts damage. ( View formatted comment » )

The original Manga designs are by the same guy, there's no doubt on that. You're probably referring to the Anime's designer. ( View formatted comment » )

I fail to see the rip off when it's the same mechanical designer. And Jehuty is far less bulkier and much more organic looking. Orbital Frames are very sleek, even gigantic ones like the Tyrant, while Linebarrel mecha are all very bulky and have more conventional weaponry. Similar but different enough. Thing like panel lines, curves, surfaces et all are vastly different as are key features likes the cockpit and head. ( View formatted comment » )

Manga was better. Much better. Hayase getting killed then getting supah roboto powah three years later is much better. Makes the Manga so much more damn cohesive and well plotted. ( View formatted comment » )

I was expecting worse. Not a bad episode. If they can keep up the pace, they might have a better second season. ( View formatted comment » )

This is definitely a prototype and not the finished version. They were still working on several mechanisms last week when the 3D render was put out and Bandai doesn't use unfinished works for advertisement. Even if the chest requires decals, the real finished version used for the promos will have them placed. There's nothing that indicates that this is the finished MG. ( View formatted comment » )

That's a 3D render. :) Ver Ka projects always have tons of detail though. Check out the Wing Gundam Ver Ka. ( View formatted comment » )

There's really no difference between the uncensored version of number 4 and that which is presented here, really. ( View formatted comment » )

1/100 NG, some 3-4 hours. MG, on average I'd say eight solid hours of work. I've been splitting my kits lately though since I've been doing them by parts rather than in one go. ( View formatted comment » )

I'll cast my faith in the Lelouch surviving theory but I'm a sucker for happy endings and it seems somewhat depressing if we take the ending at face value and that he's dead after all that trouble. ( View formatted comment » )

Because the Asian territories are much larger than Japan? The distribution of copies through a country like China alone takes a tremendous amount of time. The release date being earlier doesn't mean that every Asian country has it before Japan, simply that distribution has to begin earlier for that when the Japanese version is on sale that other countries will too. Not very hard to figure out. European release dates are often like this too so several countries will have copies of most games earlier than others would. ( View formatted comment » )

Part of why I don't like the new MG IJ is this kit. it's just a complete step up above the other S/SD kits and the IJ can't really be on par. It's not nearly as innovative or in the same league when it comes to quality. And this from someone who hated the Impulse before the kit came out. ( View formatted comment » )

It's a sidestory suit, it isn't going to appear in the series itself. Most of them are just prototypes and in many cases aren't really indicative of the final products, like the Plutone or Sadalsuud. ( View formatted comment » )

Well, Lulu wasn't actually born in the UK since the Empire lost those islands nearly 200 years ago. Most of Britannia is in America. ( View formatted comment » )

You will never get the same details with a lesser scale. Ever. Seriously. The details aren't even there, no matter how much paint you give it. The choice between MG and NG is not clear cut anymore. The outer details is mostly similar now and the joint technology alone is far superior to previous NG series lines. You can't even compare a 1/144 to a MG. The MG has an internal skeleton that provides it with all its poseability and flexibility that are beyond HG level. That is beyond the material alone or outer armour. A MG's armour...
