Heh, nice. In fact, I just woke up from my train nap right right before the doors opened at my stop. Then again, I was more like half asleep. I would wake up at every stop, take a glance, and wait until I feel the push from the braking. I've done this a few dozen times and never seem to oversleep. ( View formatted comment » )

Love wasabi. Hard to have sushi without it (well maybe not). If you ever see me eating sushi, my dish is 70% wasabi, 30% soy sauce. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't remember how it started anymore. But right now, about half the stuff in my room is imported from Japan. I think I like japan even more because of the restricted smoking (although you may be right about the restaurant sections). Here, every old and middle aged man smokes. I'm the all healthy active athlete so smoking will never work for me. I'm hoping to make a visit next year or 2010(whichever I end up graduating in). ( View formatted comment » )

Here's one from last summer. I was taking a chemistry course and after a long day of lecture and lab work I was exhausted. I got off the bus at my stop and double checked my stuff. A few moments later, I noticed that my wallet was gone. Checked my bag, pants pockets (where it usually is), jacket pockets each about 4 times really fast. I know I left it on the bus...since my pants pockets were huge. I panicked because the was a lot of stuff in there. Credit cards, license, member cards, id's, monthly unlimited metrocard (public tran... ( View formatted comment » )

In case none of you know, the guy in the alternate ending is from the movie "Independence Day." The movie is a bit old now, but it was cool. ( View formatted comment » )

That, or you could have gotten it from e2046 over the last 4 months when they still had stock. The price tag was about 220 USD. http://www.e2046.com/product_info.php?products_id=7203 ( View formatted comment » )

I don't think it's the face. It's the hair that is too bright. ( View formatted comment » )

You call that your car snowed in? I had 2 feet of snow on top of my SUV a few years ago here in NYC. I was like...crap. Anyway, there's been a streak of blizzards in NYC for the last 4 or so years, but not this year it seems. Oh well. ( View formatted comment » )

My Perfect Grade Strike Rouge went through an Ocean. Apparently it didn't come on a boat or plane because the kit box was underly destroyed (and drenched) to the point where it looks like it met a hurricane. Runners were fine, but they smell weird...Anyway, it turned out to be free, lucky me. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't know about you, but my 5the gen Ipod can last a week of casual listening with a single charge(16 hours or so). I believe the primary thing is that people tend to have the backlight on way too long and shift commands too often. I have my light completely off and I almost never have battery problems(only when I forget to charge). ( View formatted comment » )

I have partial hear loss since I was a kid. Been wearing hear aids since I was in 3rd grade. It's not a problem usually, but it does get annoying when miss something important and I have to ask people to repeat themselves. ( View formatted comment » )

I still don't like the mac interface at this point. The capabilities is rather limited on it's own. However, it seems we may be an inch closer to having those sci fiction hologram laptops. ( View formatted comment » )
