I am a 17 year old Otaku, i have loved anime and manga since i was quie young, and the thing that got me into it was Pocket Monsters!!! I then went from there, and have now seen many animes and read many a manga. My favourite Manga has to be Naruto and my favourite Anime is also Naruto very closely followed by Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. I love drawing and once again i have done from a very young age. I aim to become a character designer one day and have my character put into a computer game. Other hobies of mine are, of course, playing computer games (Zelda is my favourite series), playing sports that dont involve excessive amounts of running (basketball, hockey, golf, pool etc), i also like taking things apart, siting in high places (like on the roof of a house), and i like thinking (sitting on a roof helps me think)...Finally i love gadgets, if there is a random gadget that does something cool that is absolutely useless, ill get it anyway just because its cool ^^ Infact, its gadgets that initially got me interested in Japan, way before manga and anime and even computer games. From a very young age i used to watch "Tomorrows World" and they used to take frequent visits to Japan, and every time they did, it made me want to go there and see if for myself, so you see, my interest in Japan has been practically life-long, and although only a few are listed above, i have many more interests in Japan.

Yup that would be correct, only, it just means "Can i have strawberry pantsu", as oposed to "one strawberry pantsu" ^_^, if you wanted to add a quantity you would add a counter after the "wo". Perhaps, if you are slightly nervous, you should go in your storm trooper outfit? That way you would most certaintly get everyones attenton, but then they wouldn't be able to see you, and thus you could pretend there is nobody there? I use Internet Explorer 7 (i think thats the new one?), and all in all, its generally ok, but sometimes, it really is appauling. I find it has most problems loading your site, and deviant art. East VS West - Games

Ah yes, this ole chesnut. Well the majority of games I play and enjoy are from the east, and for that reason, i will have to say that i prefer games coming fromt he east. However, after Korea, i do believe that the west do online better. That is evident from the recent Metal Gear Online Beta fiasco where Konami had to close the european beta temporarily to fix the online services. Smoking Ban in Japan

That reminds me of when my brother and I went to Kyoto, and in the evening, we went to a really nice restaurant in the station, and it had a smoking, and non-smoking area. Now both of us hate smoke, but there was a long queue to get into the non-smoking area, so we figured, the smoking area can't be that bad, so we opted to go into there. Forbidden Kingdom

I like both Jackie Chan and Jet Li's films, however, they are both quite different in style, and thus hard to compare. Although Jackie Chans skills are amazing, i feel, as a character, he is more suited to the slightly more light hearted role, he always comes accrosss as the "i don't want to have to fight you" type. Whereas in comparison, Jet Li, is very much the "get out the way or ill make you move" type, and for that reason, he works better under serious titles, like Unleashed, War etc. However, i think... Oooh, i would definately reccomend you start reading Air Gear, it is my second favourite manga series, and it really is awesome. I also think it would appeal because the manga has plenty of nice fanservice, and unlike the anime, its not covered by little crows. Its strange, but most of the nakedness always seems to always occur at the end of the book, but i guess it gives you something to look forward to? xP ( View formatted comment » )

Game Centers

I guess nowadays, you can get most of your "gaming fix" at home, and what with the new consoles reaching new capabilities, i guess the arcade/game centres begin to be made redundant. But in my opinion, they will never become old, no matter how many games i play at home, i still love going to the arcade to play games. For things like racing and fighting games, you just can't beat the feeling of playing in an arcade.
