The most amusing Engrish I've seen actually was not Engrish, but someone mistaking it for such. I've been going to this one musician's MySpace page from time to time and he's posted some photos of his visit to Japan. One of them was of a shoe store he thought had an amusing name. One reply was made bringing up the word "Engrish" on the shoe store's name. Problem was, The Athlete's Foot is a Philadelphia-based company. How sad is this? Out of everything I could have soaked in from those pictures, the one thing that caught my eye was the AM/PM store that didn't have gas pumps surrounding it. Where I live, it almost feels like it's a mandated law to have gas pumps at every AM/PM. ( View formatted comment » )
