Doraemon first debuted in 1979, 30 years ago. His character along with Nobita-kun is still popular with kids today. This is a special Pia magazine marking the anniversary. It's strange how Japanese childrens shows seem to last for years yet tv dramas finish quickly. In the US tv dramas can last for ten years or more. Can you think of a long running Japanese tv drama? (apart from jidai gekijo)
