I guess it's that time again. I'm used to holiday lights going up sometime in late November, but in Japan they typically start going up around Halloween.
These lights are by Akiba Square in the UDX building in Akihabara and just went up a couple of days ago.
Holiday illuminaition is very big in Japan and many shopping centers and business parks have fancy light displays. A very good place to go on a date when the weather is cold and people tend to stick close for warmth ;)
