At Mt Fuji playing some golf. Might be hard to see the beauty of fuji-
san with the iPhone, but here on the course it is stunning.

The weather is fantastic and the sky is blue. I put on some warm
underwear and am now feeling the heat.

Finished the first nine holes and am now going in for some steak and
beer before hitting the back nine. In the main island of Japan most
golfers take a break after nine holes.

After the beer and steak most of them play better on the back nine as
well.

How is your Friday going?

Still Thursday here in the US.. As for Friday, I got a meeting concerning my finished project for my work *shivers*.
Quite yellowish for your average golf course lawn, isn't it?

Prologue: I have a time machine.

Same for me. In no particular order: The boss is out so I'm doing both our jobs, I've got 3 high priority projects that have to be completed before noon, and I know I'm forgetting something... But hey, at least tomorrow is pay day.

That place must cost a fortune to play golf, with such a nice view in the background.

It's that same time of the year again when everyone is doing their studies for the upcoming final exams... Stuck at home studying, while procrastinating occasionally to go on DC.com

Are you in the Rough, or is that a Links style course? I work at a Local Municipal golf course here in the States, and our Fairways are starting to get to be the same color as what you're standing in. Though, for a Municipal course, it's still in great shape. Still have a few weeks of decent weather before it starts to get really cold, so we still have Tournaments scheduled for most of November, though I wish it'd get colder. You always remember the cold tournaments the most. :P

Also, I envy the steak... all we serve at mine are Hamburgers and Hot Dogs... Plenty of Beer, though! :P

The picture had me standing in the fairway, although most of the day I was in the rough. LOL

Lucky bugger - what a great place to get a game in. Is the yellow grass just an issue with white balance or was it actually that colour?

I had the impression that golf was mostly for members or priced too high for the average person to get a game?

So is it easy to get a game of golf in Japan as a walk up? Or are you able to play these courses because you know a member or are a member yourself?

I remember the Japanese Tour makes a stop at one of the courses in/near Gotemba - is that close to where you are now?
