A fun game for families to do in Tokyo is the Stamp Rally.
This is the Akihabara Stamp station and there are similar place in train stations all over Tokyo. 77 of then to be precise.
It's free to do but you need to bring your own stamp book and pay your own travel. The idea is to go to each station and recieve a stamp showing you have been there. Sometimes there are special stamps for events. it's kind of like a scavenger hunt.
If you are really ambitious you can get an all day free use train pass and try to hit them all in one day.
This game exists all over Japan and originally comes from religeous pilgrims who would travel all over Japan visitng temples. They would get thier prayer book stamped at each temple they visited.
When you travel Japan you will see stamping stations everywhere. Have you ever done a stamp rally or scavenger hunt? Would you like to come to Tokyo and join a dannychoo.com scavenger hunt?
