In a country where there's 5 times more digital cameras than there are people (probably), how do you make a product that's going to stand out from the crowd? Easy! offer it in no less than 100 different colours!
That's what Pentax have done with the new K-x DSLR range. in the US it's only being offered in about 4 colours, but come to Akiba and you can choose from 20 different coloured bodies and 5 different handgrips.
it's a pretty good entry level camera - even shoots true HD video. Perhaps they're trying to attract the young girls with those pinks - certainly wouldn't be much good for stealth photography!
Personally I'd feel a bit silly using one of these - I think I'll stick with my all-black Nikon D40x!
