Found this yesterday and was overjoyed! It's called Ginger Chai, but it tastes just like a favorite drink of mine I had in Singapore called Teh Halia.
Never seen this before in Japan, so was quite a pleasant suprise.
One thing that was cool for me when I came to Japan were the vending machines that despence hot drinks. We had some stuff like that in the States, but they were usually these gross machines that poured bad coffee into paper cups.
In Japan, vending machines usually have hot and cold sections. The machines run electricity throug heating elements and heat up the cans directly. You can get hot coffee, tea, soup, and even Ginger tea now!
During the cold winter months these machines have saved my life. When I have a long cold trip ahead, I would sometimes buy a couple of hot cans of whatever and just stick them into my pockets to keep warm.

So what kind of hot drinks do you prefer? Coffee, Tea, Cocoa?
