Sent my MacBook Pro in for repair last Saturday. Had it returned to me with a new display on Monday evening! Talk about fast service! Very impressed with Apple support. The problem was due to wake on USB, whereby if you plug in a USB item it will wake the laptop from sleep. What happened was I closed the lid, put it to sleep and then unplugged a USB item. For some reason it decided to wake the laptop up even though the lid was closed. Without me realizing this, I put the laptop in my bag and went to work. Opened it up to find it had overheated and cooked the left side of the monitor... It still worked but had white lines over the left side of the screen. Do you own an Apple product? How do you find the quality of the product and the service they provide?
