Almost forgot to post today's cafeteria lunch photo. On the menu today, カキフライ kaki furai. Loosely translated to fried oysters. Yummy.

That vomit-looking thing looks like 茶碗蒸し(chawanmushi), a savory egg custard. My mom occasionally makes it, it's like pudding but not sweet but I guess it's not 'coz it's not on the receipt... other than kaki furai and soup in the receipt, I can see there とろろご飯(tororogohan) lol!?

Exactly, that's tororogohan in the white bowl. Pretty simple to make: rasp a yamaimo, mix it with a nip of shouyu and top it on your rice. Healthy and tasty! I know it looks like vomit and it is sticky like nattou. . .
