No windmills here, but Akihabara is home to one of the strangest and amazing stores in Japan.
Discount Store Don Quixote (or as some of my friends call it Donkey Hoteh) can be found all over Tokyo, but the Alihabara branch of course has to add the Akiba flair. If you go to Don-ki in Shibuya, Shinjuku or Roppongi, you can find costmetics, cat food, alrm clocks, import snacks, designer handbags and adult *ehem* entertainment accesories. But at Akiba Don-Ki you will not only find all that, but also a whole floor of cosplay costumes, two floors of videogame arcade, a maid cafe, and of course the home stage of AKB48, with daily shows of the popular pop group.
This is a must stop for anyone visiting Akiba!

How many of you have been to Akihabara? What was you favorite shop?
