Natto in Japan

Trying to eat healthier at home and apparently natto (fermented soy beans) are good for you. However, they smell weird, have a sticky consistency and taste strange. They're definitely an acquired taste. I'm getting used to them but my first try was a memorable experience. What foods do you eat for your health rather than for the taste? Have you tried natto?
