I am in Australia on the Gold Coast at the moment. It is another beautiful Australian morning as I look out over the canals. The Gold Coast has a great setup with beaches, shopping, golf courses, mountains and a set of canals that people live on. The water is very peaceful and provides a great view. In Japan, canals are not very popular. There are some nice rivers and canals towards Shinagawa, Shibaura area but most people still view them as a bit dirty. Maybe in the future they will be seen as peaceful relaxing waterways to enjoy and land prices on the Tokyo waterfront canals may increase. I will be back in Japan on Wednesday night.
