Another one of my favorite Singaporean dishes is Hainanese Chicken Rice.
Chicken boiled in chicken broth is served with a light soup and rice also steamed with chicken broth. Originally from the Hainan provice in China, Chicken Rice has become a signature dish of Singapore. If you visit, you must try it.

Erm, if I'm not wrong, Hainanese Chicken Rice didn't originate from China. It was created by the Hainanese after they emigrated to the Singapore, basically the food origin is in Sg.
