Japan Self Service Register
Checking out these self service cash registers at the supermarket. No staff required to scan or collect the cash from you. Anyone else seen or tried them? Recently JR also introduced about 50 self service registers for its station kiosks on the Yamanote Line. Wonder what happens if you forget to scan all the items you are buying?
