I bought this handy battery pack for my iPhone when I was at the Tokyo Gift Show. It plugs in the bottom of the iPhone and transfers it's charge to the phone so you don't have to stand around looking like you have a brick attached to the phone when talking. They are selling these at Yodobashi camera for about 3,000 Yen. You can recharge your phone and the battery pack simultaneously when at home. I find my iPhone battery runs gown quickest when I take photos. What heat is everyone else packing for their iPhone juice?
