One of my favorite treats since I was a little kid is Gyouza. Usually served in Chinese restaurants or Ramen joints, these fried dumplings are the ultimate junk food. I passed this gyouza specialty place near Akihabara a few days ago and decided to stop in today for lunch to try it out. Really glad I did too. They have a special plate with four types of gyouza for just 900 yen! Including soup and rice.
The dumplings were great, but my favorite gyouza is still Harajuku Gyouza (a late night Tokyo tradition).
My favorite from this plate is the shiso gyouza, but they were all tasty.
Do you like Gyouza? What's your favorite fried food?
