It's really interesting the way companies count hours in Japan. One day in this planet has 24 hours, but some companies don't think in that way. Actually they count the working day, that sometimes could exceed 24 hours. For example in this StarBucks you can see that they open at 7:00 and close at 29:00, that is from 7AM to 5AM of the next day. In my company some times we use that timing, saying that some operation finish at 26:00, that is 2AM. Actually I think that this is a really practical and useful way to count time. Instead to base and relay totally on the natural days of this planet, they think about the working day. The work start at time X and finish at time Y, and it has no relationship with the day light or night.
