Christmas dinner does not get more Christmassy than this - organic
food Japanese style ^^;
Veggies, fish and tofu are steamed in the wood thingy on the left of
the photo. Served together with miso soup and brown rice. What did you
have for Christmas dinner?

今日のクリスマスディナーはこれだった!とってもクリスマス風でしょう ^^;

    I had something like this:

    Every country has special dishes which Christmas dinner consist of. Typical meals for Christmas in Slovakia are: Before main dishes people eat wafers with honey and small piece of garlic. Dinner consist of two main dishes. The first main dish is sauerkraut soup, which is soup made from sauerkraut, mushrooms, slices of sausage. Other ingredients depend on traditions of the part of the country where people live.
    The second main dish is fish and potatoes salad which is made from boiled potatoes cut into small cubes then carrot, pickles, onion, hard-boiled eggs cut into small cubes too, mayonnaise, and then mixed everything together. Fish is fried in breadcrumbs. After both main dishes people eat Lok¹e which is food made from pieces of baked risen dough raisins with poppy seed. Then people eat fruit, apples, oranges, pineapples, bananas, nuts and a lot of cakes. After Christmas dinner people go to a Christmas tree where they find Christmas presents

    Me and the missus had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast, followed by roast pork and vegetables with stuffing and gravy. Then we had a rest! After which we had sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for dessert. Need to do a workout tomorrow me thinks!

    We had smoked salmon, fish mouse accompanied by slight sour sauce with dill and thyme. Main course was guinea fowl accompanied by mustard based sauce, with some sweet chilled pear to contrast. Dessert was crème brûlée.

    In Poland we have 12 diffrent dishes for Christmas... that's polish tradition (or maybe some other countries share it?). Of course the portions are small because you have to try every of them... but yours looks delicious too ^^ ... i think i will enjoy that kind of Christmas dinner as well :P

    I had my family's traditional Christmas dinner: standing rib roast with roasted garlic potatoes and asparagus followed by a slice of pecan pie. Now I don't have to eat until Monday.

    cooked up stir-fry marinated pork and beef with snow peas, green onions, mushrooms (baby portabellas), red and green peppers (julienne), dash of spicy miso and shoyu on yaki-soba; a fruit tart was for dessert - had kiwi, grapes, blue berries, mandarin orange slices and black raspberries on custard filling. 8O

    I wasn't able to get Kurisimasu Keiki and I hate fruitcake but the local market had these adorable mini-pies, so I got the coconut cream variety in honor of the lost confection of my youth called "Snowballs."

    Had hotpot today (Christmas) and a variety of other Asian dishes.

    We always have our Christmas dinner on Christmas eve. Had turkey stuffed with glutinous rice, baked potatoes, gizzards, gravy, shrimp, and some cold Chinese dishes. Had a Rolling Rock as well, but realized halfway through the bottle that I didn't like it much at all.
