A new cat cafe opened in Shibuya recently in dogenzaka. Dogenzaka is well known for the area where there are many love hotels and mizu- shobai (water entertainment business) in Shibuya, but recently it's image has been changing to be more respectable. A number of night clubs, theatres and stores have now owned in areas where previously there were just love hotels. This cat cafe is more likely fitting the image of Daikanyana or Jiyugaoka, but it looks like the changing image of Shibuya also includes as the sign says, happy pussy cats. Inside the cafe you can play with the cats whilst you enjoy a cup of tea. Many people who cant own a pet in their apartment can enjoy borrowing a pet for a short time. As you might guess there are quite a lot of female customers. Could be a good spot for a date as well. What is your image of Shibuya and in particular Dogenzaka? Do you notice the image change shift?
