I'm at the Pink Cow in Shibuya, a popular bar that often holds events that draw an international crowd.
Tonight's no different - it's the Learn Japanese Pod (http://learnjapanesepod.com) monthly get together.
Learn Japanese is a regular free podcast created by the very talented Alex Brooke, a British born podcaster/ musician friend of mine who's been in Japan donkey's years.
Most episodes are short Japanese grammar lessons, but there's also Fun Friday's, where the subject can be anything japan related - last week's was all about the changes to the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. If you're interested in the language, definately check it out!
At tonight's gathering we're being entertained by a traditional Japanese music group, featuring the koto, shakuhachi and shamisen. I love it :)
