Come to Shibuya tonight and it'll be impossible to not realise that *something*s going on. Shibuya station (and I guess other major stations around Tokyo) is crawling with baton-wielding cops, located near the ticket barriers looking for dangerous samurai warriers.
The police are joined by railway station staff, who, as you can see in the picture are armed with lethal plastic carrier bags. They all have them. And masks to to help them feel more menacing. Now and then they adjust their caps too, provoking fear in passers-by.
I wonder if Obama will be going to karaoke or a maid cafe tonight? if you were his guide, where would you take him (and his security party)?
