Getting by monthly bowl haircut a wee bit early for the filming and
few keynotes that I will be presenting in Singapore next week.
Been going to this place for nearly 5 years now. The lady who does my
headwork plays in a band, prefers to browse the internets on her
mobile and walks to work nearly every day.
Is the person who cuts your hair talkative or dead silent?

I think so far, I have never cut my hair at the same place twice, in a time-frame where anybody would remember me.

But in general the men are rather silent/only talk when necessary, while the women keep telling to dye the ends of my hair (I think about 80% if not more told me that).

I don't see many Japanese with Afro's. I wonder what they would think if I went in with my giant mounds of curly hair, lol. Would they know how to cut it? silly question! lolol!

I usually go to the same place, once a month to get my hair trimmed since it grows fast ^_^ The hairdresser knows my family so he's pretty talkative with me

I used to go monthly to a local salon until they messed up my hair and made me look like Blackadder - now my g'f performs the honour with a pair of clippers. Grade 1 all over ftw!

I 'cut' my own hair (use a hair trimmer) and I never speak to myself while doing it. Though I have been known to hum along to some anime tunes like "K-ON!" tracks trying to overpower the sound of the trimmer but don't tell anyone that. >_>

I haven't gotten anything other than split-end trims in the past three years or so, and those my mom usually does. She doesn't talk much when cutting my hair, though she will at other times.

The last time I went to a hairdresser I was trying to rectify my dye disaster. . . *shudder* Long story short, after I realized the red dye was NOT going to come out of my blond hair, I went to the hairdresser so I could get some highlights put in to make my roots less obvious when they grew in. The woman who did that for me was a chatterbox. She pretty much kept up this whole monologue the whole time I was there, which was a good couple hours. >.< And people wonder why I don't do anything fancy with my hair.

I have to get my hair cut soon and I'm dreading it because I don't have a particularly simple style, nor do I know anything about the local hair salons.

Even talkative hairdressers aren't talkative with me - I'm really quiet and apparently it can be intimidating to people.

He is talkative and never made my head look like a wild bush.

I have a question, at the salon as D. Choo or as an Empire's soldier?

My stylist is great. Talkative if I'm up to it, but quiet when I doze off in the chair (^^;) as it takes awhile. Which I don't mind as he hand cuts, and doesn't use any trimmers. Always compliments that I have great, full head of hair with no white to be seen.

I miss my hairstylist in Singapore ;_; he's usualy quiet lol. I feel embarassed when I get my hair washed and the water was ticklish and makes me giggle cos he's a guy stylist :p he cuts my hair vey well! In Canada, the one I last went to is more talkative but I am kinda on the hunt again cos the way he cut my hair is not how I preferred. I had a Japanese stylist do my hair for a bit but he moved back to japan already ;_; and he was rather chatty as well lol
