It's early Sunday morning, and I'm just about to take the Tokyu Toyoko Line train a few stops south to the Tama River in the West of Tokyo. It's day 7 of our 112 day marathon training program, and every Sunday we do our longest run of the week.
The rivers in Tokyo make for great running tracks - with wide grassy flood plains you can feel you've escaped the city.
The trains at this time are refreshingly empty - just a few people snoozing on their way from Shibuya to Yokohama.
I like the effect that fast moving objects have on iPhone photos - the warped train above is exactly as the sensor captured it - no post processing.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Sunday - what are you getting up to?
Joseph
