Having shabu shabu for dinner at the golf course. The meat looks great and the veges are almost ready to eat. After a long day on the course it's really nice to have a good tasting hot meal. The last time I had shabu shabu was in Shibuya at a famous "no pan shabu shabu". Do you remember when those places were all the rage? "no pan" meant no panties for the waitreses dressed in mini skirts who worked there and the Japanese male customers would ask the for the bottles on the top shelf to be selected which normally required a bit of stretching to be done. Actually I never got chance to go, but wish now I had tried it. Tofu is almost done now. Time to eat up. What's your best shabu shabu story?
