Currently waiting for the main platter of sushi to arrive and was
asked to try some shirako in the meantime. Shirako is fish sperm.
Life is all about taking challenges. But I'll leave this challenge for
another day ^^;

「白子食べてみて」と言われましたけど、今日のチャレンジ精神が弱いの
で、パスします^^;

      Other species' seeds of life = delicacy.

      Homo Sapien's seeds of life to the significant other = Delicacy?

        Although I probably wouldn't have much of a problem eating it regardless, unless it just tasted outright bad.

    After days of debating, I got my preorder in for this Taiga. A few months later and I got it, but she was a lot smaller than I thought it would be.

    I used to work at a sushi restaurant and the craziest thing I ate was, to me, surf clam. That stuff was nasty. Uni was kinda bad too, but I can't imagine fish sperm.

    we can say 'sperm' here? we don't have to say, like, 'dolphin guts' or 'dolphin droppings' or something? maybe that'd be too confusing b/c then this post would be about 'fish dolphin guts'.. howzabout 'fish happy joy sauce'? lol

    Uni have a generally rather *urgh* taste to it. Its hard to describe unless you try it yourself. Salty though. If this is anything like thing, I'll stay away.

    On the other hand, fish eggs/ikura/caviar have a generally more pleasant taste. Almost tasteless with a hint of the sea.
