焼き芋 (Yakiimo) means "baked sweet potato". I'm working from home today and we heard "Yaaakiiiiiimooooh" in the distance. Similar to an Ice Cream van but without the jingle ^^ So we jumped on our bikes and chased him down. The potatoes are placed on flat rock above the fire and kept warm whilst he drives around slowly. The large potato costs 500 yen each, but because we chased him he gave us 2 for 500 yen ^^ What kind of food vans do you have in your area?
