Japan, the land of bento-s, is great this way. Walk into a convenience store and you're greeted with a variety of packaged food. Unless you're like me, who has tried almost all the bento-s available at the local conbini, choosing something would be difficult. Why? Because I've had time to taste all the bento-s in my mind before I even walk into the conbini. ^^.
However, once in a while, there are new entries on the bento shelf. 豚焼肉丼 (buta yaki niku don) is just that one today. Picked it up for ¥498. Was pretty good too.
What's your favorite bento at the convenient store? Or better yet, what would you like to see available as boxed food in the local conbini?
Without any new variety, I usually just stick to yakisoba. Quick and painless.
