After wreaking havoc across south east Asia, Super Typhoon Melor is now on it's way to Tokyo. It's the first tropical cyclone to hit in 2 years, and unlike most typhoons seems unlikely to blow itself out until after it's passed over Honshu. At the moment it's the calm before the storm, but tomorrow looks like it's going to be pretty grim.
But I'm prepared! Not just wIth my amazing 500 yen 65cm umbrella, but also my bright yellow rain coat and Tilley hat! I may look line a fool, but hey, I'll be a dry fool.
Batten down the hatches!
