Import food Japan

When I first came to live in Japan in 2001, there were a few things that made me feel homesick. One of them was the food - or rather, the lack of some foods that I'd grown up with, like Weetabix.

Things have changed a fair bit since then, and now even our local supermarket stocks both Weetabix and made-in-the-UK organic muesli (At 1,320 yen it's not exactly cheap, but well worth it).

As well as internationalised supermarkets we now also have pretty good online food importers, such as the Foreign Buyers Club and Tengu wholefoods.

If you live in Japan, are there any foods from back home you can't get here? What foods couldn't you live without?

p.s the day I found Marmite over here was the happiest day of my life!
