I'd never seen dogs in a pet store back in the UK. So it was a shock at first when I came to Japan and saw puppies in small display boxes. They are well looked after at my local store but I still think they should have more space. I've noticed that many of the pets find new homes quickly, but a few end up staying a while. I wish I could give them all a home ^^ Do you have dogs (or larger pets!?) at your local pet store? What are their living conditions like?
