This weekend brings race fever back to Singapore as the Formula 1 Grand Prix races through the streets. Just down the street from my hotel is the reviewing stand. Since the race will be at night they have added giant floodlights along the track as well as concrete barriers everywhere.
would love to see it, but will be heading home in a couple of days.

I used to go to Silverstone with my dad when I was younger. They were such fun days out, even if we only ever went on the qualifying days. I think we went about three years in a row.
I'd love to see a night race though, that must be great.

for cash-stripped-currently-studying F1 fans who can't even afford the airfare to Sepang or Melbourne.. Besides, watching from the side track is free (",)

The cars looked amazing on the video feed. I can only imagine how amazing they looked in person. Flavio will be Flavio. Now that Knight Schumacher is gone, it seems to be the only excitement in the sport.
As for Silverstone, no offense to it's fans, but it's time they did something with the track. I think they wanted to do a street race in London...that may prove to be awesome.
