In response to Danny's call to the Tokyo Live Bloggers to show our wallpapers, here's mine!
This is Pepe the Penguin, buying his new pair of glasses in Claires, Shibuya.
Pepe travelled with me 9000 miles over land by bullet train, ferry, train, bus, horse, bicycle and on foot from Tokyo to London in 2007, passing through China, Mongolia, Russia, Belarus and northern Europe.
He now works at Ueno Zoo (teaching Penguinese) and is writing the sequel to his first book, Pepe Goes to China, which will be a Tokyo guidebook, out next year.

I wonder if Penguinese is difficult to master. ^^

Penguinese is the most difficult language in this world ^^.

Not surprising, considering most of it is impossible to vocalize with human vocal cords. ^^;

You're certainly right there. It's much more difficult than Japanese. Also, the dialects are very different depending on what type of penguin it it. That's why most films made for penguins are subtitled.
