Vending Machine Prices in Japan
Unlike in the UK, I find it's often cheaper to get drinks from a vending machine than it is from a shop. Not sure how they work out the pricing, but the large Calpis can is the same price as the smaller bottle below it. Drinks are often much colder from a vending machine than from a shop fridge too. I like to get a big can of Calpis soda on a hot day like today. Have you tried Calpis?
