For folks who don't have time to eat sushi at a restaurant, one can
always go for take out instead.
The word for "Take out" in Japanese is "Mochi-kaeri" [持ち帰り]. Sometimes
you may be asked "Ten-nai de Omeshi-agari desuka?" [店内でお召し上がりですか?]
which means "Will you eat in?" If you answer is "Take out" then what
do you say?

寿司の持ち帰りの列。普通はこんなに並ばない。何か特別なサービスやってんなのかな。

There are take out sushis around my place, especially Giant and Jusco. Giant is cheap, while Jusco has better quality.

Ahh havent ate take out sushi in a while. I remembered the last restaurant had a lot of plastic to contain the sushi and such. Luckily my aunts were smart enough to recycle them

Wouldn't you just say mochi-kaeri, pay for it and be on your way? Or is there some kind of special message you need to send across to the sushi vendor?

i think for a student like me, a sushi take out place would be both healthy and gd. Unlike mac donalds where some of the food is gd and its really unhealthy. Cheers. ^^

Always eat sushi and Japanese food in the local Japanese Restaurant... weekly basis... prefer to eat in there rather than take away...
