I know their combined form is called Devastator, but what is this guy's name? Before coming to Japan, I've only seen yellow construction vehicles. I remember being amazed the first time I saw a green one! Do such vehicles have a unique color where you are?

I have seen yellow, orange and red ones. Basically there aren't any rule regarding colours so if a company feels like they want to stand out they can paint them. I recall wondering about the origin of a red locomotive once. Turned out that it's a common one, but the new owner decided that his single locomotive of that type should be red to make it stand out from all the green ones.

There is one thing I notice, which I find more interesting than the colour and this is the size of it. I don't think I have seen such a tiny base before. This makes it very good at working (turning) in narrow spaces. The rear end will not hit anything when turning and I can imagine several locations (specially in Japan) where this is a great feature.

being green and tiny for an excavator (fits in the back of a full-sized pick-up truck), I think I'd name it "Micro-mangler"...
