Most shops in my area (New Hampshire, USA) close at 9PM with a few exceptions like 24 hour drug stores, some Wal-Marts, and 24 hour gas stations.

For Singapore, there's plenty of hawker centres open 24 hours, not to mention convenience stores and a few supermarkets too. Most stores close between 10pm - 11pm though.

読めないけど営業時間の話だと予想。関東だと駅前とか立地条件のいい所だと深夜0時とかまで営業しているスーパーは結構あるよね。便利。
コレに慣れると地方に行った時かなり悲惨。7時に店仕舞とかお役所じゃねーんだからもっと働けよと言いたくなる。引きこもりが言うなと返されそうだが。

In the Netherlands the biggest grocary store chain Albert Hijn closes at 19:00 daily.
General stores (anything else) close at 18:00 daily with hte exception of either Thursday (21;00) or Friday(21:00) the later depends on which part of the country you are.
There is no 24/7 economy here so no 24 hour shops or anything later than the times mentioned above.
Which i think sucks ^_^;

All shops here close at around about 8-9pm on weekdays and around 10pm on weekends. save for the restos which usually go on til around midnight or 2am

The local shops here close at 11pm Monday to Saturday and close at 10pm on Sundays. Then our Tesco is 24 hours less than 15 minutes away. I'm in Dublin :3

Most shops here close 8PM (and I think many employees would like them to close at 6 too much delinquents arround .....) LOL why are you buying groceries at that time? mostly of the people buy groceries in the morning.

In the UK larger shops tend to close between five and six in the evening unless the evening is designated for late night shopping and then they stay open longer, but small supermarket branches are often open until late, or even open twenty four hours. I was quite surprised coming to Japan to find that many shops closed much later in the evening.

The Lawblaw's Super Store at the local mall closes at 9:00pm I think. The Metro grocery store nearby was last I looked was open 24 hours.
Convenience Stores seem to vary from store to store. (midnight or 24 hours)

Two big grocery stores here are Wal-Mart and Kroger. Wal-Mart stays open 24 hours, so most Kroger's here seem to follow suit to stay up with them.
