I lurve minute maid's fruit juices. Particularly their pink grapefruit drink. Spotted something new in the vending machine (自動販売機, jidouhanbaiki) I've never seen before. Premium lemonade with no preservatives and 13 percent fruit juice. Pink grapefruit is my favorite, but I'll go with lemonade today to quench my thirst. Do you like lemonade?

I bought one once, mistaking it for a can or regular melon soda. I didn't shake it, and it ended up being a can full of melon soda-like jello suspended in semi-fizzy liquid. Less than pleasant, but they're probably better if you shake them.

Well if I'm not mistaken this product was released a couple of years ago in Spain, so that's probably the reason for the name.

I drink lemonade occasionally, some of it's pretty good but a lot of it usually tastes rather watered down to me.

Minute Maid's pink grapefruit is good. I was surprised at how easy pink grapefruit juice is to come across in Japan compared to the UK where it's usually only available in large supermarkets.

I love 'proper' lemonade - the homemade-style stuff you can get at Italian restaurants, or by making yourself etc.

Here, Minute Maid is equivalent to cheaper fruit juice... ^^; Always thought they tasted fake and cheap. Maybe it's different where you are - I've certainly not seen Minute Maid Lemonade.

Then again, it's been ages since I've walked into a grocery store.
