Being looked after by the folks at Japan Airlines reminded me of the
time that I worked at JAL part time as ground staff at Heathrow
airport in London.
At JAL, I made Japanese announcements for lost passengers, lead
passengers who took a JAL package called Jalpack, and did things like
organizing Tarmac transfers.
While waiting for a bunch of passengers on the runway tarmac on a
clear evening watching the sun bathe the parked planes in golden
brown, I said to myself that I was going to take one of these planes
one day and fufil my dream of living and working in Japan.
Was working for JAL while still at university and when I graduated,
they offered me a job as a Computer Engineer despite my degree being
in linguistics. Got the job mainly though my self taught experience of
learning how to use a PC.
At Japan Airlines, I learned how to write HTML on the job which lead
to my position at Nature in Japan.

卒業後JALのコンピューターエンジニアやりませんかと誘われまし
た。
