I'm traveling to Akita-ken for a trip to see the kamakura snow festival in Yokote. Just got on the train now and am eating my bento with a hot green tea. Looking over my shoulder I realized the seat behind me is occupied by a small dog and it's owner. In japan small pets are allowed to travel on the train with their owner. I've seen pets on the Yamamote Line before, but this is the first time I have seen one sitting down on the Shinkansen. Are pets allowed in the train where you live?
