Went to Tsutaya last night and rented these CDs. Rather than letting you scan the barcode of the CD to listen to it, this store had proper CD players and the actual CD was in the case. So I picked up a few CDs off the shelf and had a listen. The trust and security here in Japan still amazes me. In the UK those CDs, cases and inner sleeves would've been stolen in minutes ^^ I rented these 4 CDs for 1000円 which was a special offer. What's CD rental like in your area? Do you get to listen to them first?
