Earlier on today in Harajuku snapped by wifey on the iPhone. Many
people are back at work tomorrow and today there were hordes of people
out in about enjoying the last day off. Everybody seems to spending a
load of moolah on the new year sales.
New year sales are not really my cuppa tea as all the stuff I usually
see is unwanted stock of stuff that the shops couldn't get rid of ^^;
Have you been indulging in any new year sales in your neck of the woods?

That looks like Omotesando St, right?
Sometimes I buy at the new year sales some new clothes. Last year I bought a Surprise Package of new year but no more times again... haha

Was there on new years day so the Wifey could buy a Fukubukuro or ten. Some of those food stands were awesome and I won a Rilakkuma money box on a cork gun stand!

This is the time of the year I go to my relatives house in São Paulo... and today I'm off to the part of the city (Liberdade ward(?)) where you can find some figure and otaku related stores, like these: http://xspblog.com/2008/11/30/brazilian-figure-stores/
So, it's not exactly about New Year sales, but yeah - I'm spending all the bucks I have. :P
Sales, not really. Nothing I want is on sale enough, haha.. Did spend a few bucks on LP's though,... anybody know a decent webstore for buying LPs?

It wasn't really a special New Year sale thing, but I did buy myself a PS3 the other day for a decent price. I have all three of the home consoles for this generation now. ^^;

The only thing I can splurge on is eating at a restaurant or two per month.
But things are looking better and better now. As far as sales go like these, yep pretty much the way I see it too. And then when you think about the price you realize that it's not much of a deal anyway, if at all. Then a couple of months later you see the price far cheaper still.

Have been avoiding the shops - danger of being bulldozed down by a genki granny hell-bent on getting that 'bargain'!

This year I bought some clothes, but the nice ones in my size is very hard to find after some hours (^^')
I also bought some ps2 games and other electronics, though I havent bought the console itself yet XD, but I eventually have too, just have to find a ps2 on sale first.

Usually people like to get the last remaining stocks. I don't know why and I don't like to go frenzy over year end sales.

My God! That looks as crowded as the main street of my hometown on holidays and well...everyday! xD
