The official site for Ikkitousen tells us that the third season "Great Guardians" has been decided. More news as I get it and hope to see more at the Tokyo Anime Fair. See what the previous anime fair was like in the Tokyo Anime Fair 2007 article.

Um, wow crazy spoilers... second series I had spoiled on this site by someone posting about a death of a character... first was Death Note. Maybe I should stop reading the comments. As for Ikki, seeing all the figures had my interest piqued. And now there's a third series coming. I just don't know if I really want to see this or if I want to see what makes it so dang popular.

ryofu was in the sixth episode of the ova which i thought took place after she died in the first season. i thought ryofu must not have died after i saw that and this seems to confirm she is still alive.

ohh and if anyone has not seen the six ova episodes they are a must see for anyone who loves the ikkitousen girls. they are only like 3min each and are only fanservice!

Ryofu was in that for a split second only. That was an OVA obviously meant to show ALL the Ikkitousen girls, but putting her in an actual season is something else. But yes, I agree that some of the OVAs were good, the middle ones were pretty bad.

I can't wait to watch this. It's nice to see Ryofu back and who's the girl in green? Danny, the Tokyo anime fair is held on 30 March right? I'll be in Tokyo then and would like to go for it. but am not sure how to go about it. Do i need a ticket/invitation for it?

OH God, not another ecchi season... I've heard, from my own research, that this show is a worthy show to watch, and that it packs a punch and much pantsu/ecchi-ness. Maybe, in the future, I'll consider watching this. The girls do look great! ^^

Can't belive there's a 3rd season. Saw the 1st one and I didn't think a sequal was deserved. 3rd season what a waste of talent and money, while other shows don't even get a sequal. 'no limits' - Might as well turn this into proper hentai then.

Well I liked both seasons, first one was more about Sonsaku and the second was more about Kan-U almost everyone favorite ^^. This third season caught me by surprise, same as Zero no Tsukaima third season.

Ah, interesting, haven't even seen the second season yet. By the way, could someone explain why Sonsaku looks so very different in the second season? Looks like an entirely different character. Even if someone else animated it or whatever, I don't see why you would make her that different.

I've never watched this series. The opening songs and stuff look good, but seem like there are lots of fanservice than a decent anime. Now there is a 3rd season? seem like this series is more popular than i think it is.
