I became aware of the "Smart Dolls" yesterday - wow, are they georgeous! Beautiful work, really - but so far :(
Have you come to toy trade fairs in Germany in time? Or do you have already some dealers which you delivered here?
Hope you understand my bad english ^^
Many Greetings, Doschi

I really love Chitose's character designs here , but I don't know if i'll buy her doll as I really don't like the mouth design I've seen so far. =/

I've never in my life heard of a single person serving Goose on Christmas. Might just not be a thing in Ireland though.
Really now!!!! Crazy. I've always just wanted to know if there american is even slightly the same or want to see what's different about it . I love their fascination about American pop stuff. Their crazy love of McDonald's it's just fun!! I saw an episode of anthony Bourdain on travel chanel and man he made Japan look soooo fun!!!
Now: Fried chicken instead of roast chicken.
It's also why Santa is now always in a Coca-cola red suit.
For those of us who Play FATE/GRAND ORDER, I found it particularly humorous that Santa Alter Saber's ascension material is a bucket of Fried Chicken.
Y la lasagna casera @ysrramil 🏼
wow sugoi!arigatou por el dato!
@ericataveras Pork and chicken being the most common with moro de guandules.
kentucky so good!
It's lovely, I tried the spicy chicken without knowing and ended up slouched over the table not wanting to move for about 5 mins, lol. There fast definitely has a different taste than the west.
The power of marketing campaign, it can influence a culture!
Not in any Christian bible I ever read.
Turkey legs were popular at USJ on Wednesday!! Too bad they're about half the size of the ones sold at Walt Disney World in Florida!!
Thanks Danny! I learned something new. Is Christmas big over there??
thanks for sharing Danny Choo, have a great Thursday :) (insight by https://t.co/QKUV9RFHuW)

I'm in Japan right now and all the combinis have xmas chicken boxes along with Xmas cakes. At least for Family Mart they had a reservation system for both chicken and cake.
after all each country have their customs status for egemplo here in Mexico are usually tamales.
Dominican families in New York eat home made rice and beans! Delicious lasagna and a variety of meats .
Japan looks so fun!! Would love to try the chicken there just because. I love KFC here!!
April Coloma my country
Yeah, I just got back from Japan and they had several commercials of families eating Family Mart fried chicken at the dinner table whilst wearing Santa hats.
plus KFC had a pretty good advertising campaign, basically saying 'this is what Americans eat for Christmas, its special'.
since the country doesn't celebrate christmas, until the KFC event, nobody ever considered Christmas as more than just a work day
you should also add that japan had no reason to eat turkey it anything special at xmas because its not a holy day here.
I'm obsessed with discrete mathematics, quantum physics, quantitative finance, and anime.
Well, from my experience, we really need more of all 3 of those positions lol :D my high school's science/math teacher retention rate was like 2 yrs max. D: there was more funding for English and history stuff in Utah at least......... >.>;;;
That is amazing. :D
Do the endorsements mean you can teach both subjects? :)
Nice! What are you studying?
I graduated already but am still in the area hehe. Can't believe how fast time flies..
wat you're in CO now? i'm in MA... D:
Aw Danny. :3 I just wanted to say congratulations on everything you've done. Hiring employees is no small deal, and it could take startups years before having the capacity to expand. Your brand and business have grown enormously since the first time I stepped foot into your blog. I was an angry middle school kid back then lol. I'm working on a startup now, but in a very different field - a lot of it was due to your advice - to pursue something you enjoy, to go for the things that distract you. The boring stereotypical corporate life is a nightmare and needs a massive makeover - 120 hours per week, 7 days a week, 0 work life balance. Being a kaishain in finance in Tokyo was a huge eye-opener, and I'm thankful to be out of there lol. I doubt you'll see this but have a wonderful summer and best of luck with the recruitment process!! May the best applicant(s) win!
there's like.. men wearing yukata with blonde hair selling death metal-type clothing with jazz music in the background in this building :D
my eye doctor is somewhere down yonder :D
waa character pants? yee!
Thank you so much for this post, Danny! ^^
I'm going to Japan next week for a summer internship and will definitely check out your guides and recommendations to get the most out of living in Japan. I'm really excited because my work is in Chiyoda-ku, close to Akihabara! So excited and nervous. Yeeee.
I haven't graduated from college yet but am working in Japan in a month. If you have the skills, they'll still somehow hire you. Some companies help out with the visa process. In addition, if you're currently in school but haven't graduated yet, the school can help you obtain your visa as well.
I have a lot of issues with Cool Japan, not gonna lie. But soft power is what it is. Part of the reason I care and want to work in Japan is so that I can help women have more of an academic/technological/entrepreneurship role in the industry.
Yay no more bugs in my face! Aha...
Glad to hear you're doing well Danny. :)
On another note, the Japanese I class at my school, which is "easy"（ハーバードに比べるMITの言語/人文科学の授業は優しいかもしれない）, had us memorize all katakana and hiragana in two days. 日本語１を取った時、早く覚えなくちゃ行けないから、とても大変だった。
I agree with you! But!
But i think that's kind of what they're aiming for.. something crazy, something to spark controversy and that "Wtf just happened" type of reaction. I mean, it's another boring mainstream car - and what better way to cry for attention than a high pitched screaming virtual idol coming out of a car singing 世界で一番の姫様 ...
Risky marketing strategy but it makes sense.
Ehe he he

So legit, Chun. :)
My car is shittastic but at least it has eyelashes. :)
A lot of those snacks are pretty healthy though, if not in smaller proportions.. :)
Idk why but all of the Japanese people i've hosted dislike sweets.. they've grown up with healthy snacks rather than, say, the double chocolate Milanos i'm eating right now at 3AM which are ~100 calories/cookie. FML
