Canon EOS 5D Review
My daughters have been asking me to buy them a camera for a while now but haven't been able to do so due to lack of funding. Luckily, a Dolfie sized Canon EOS 5D recently fell from the sky!
Aoi-chan is the gadget girl - she got the headphones, guns and now the new SLR.
And the most interesting thing about the Canon EOS 5D is that photos taken on it are saved directly on the handy built in 4GB drive.
I remember seeing a tweet about this over a year ago and thought "Want!" which turned to "Maybe not so want lah" after I saw the price which was about 500 USD.
The LCD displays ISO settings and wot not.
This is a lens kit which comes with the 24-105mm lens.
Aperture, ISO and shutter speed settings on the back display.
Dollfies are known to have very steady hands but for some daughters who get drunk from time to time, the image stabilizer helps.
Aoi-chan has been asking me to get her a tripod too.
When I first started out with my DSLR, I wondered if I needed a flash unit and glad that I didn't bother to go get one.
Most DLSR's these days have a small built in flash - I use mine in emergencies only. By adjusting the ISO and other settings, you can get good quality low light shots without the aid of a flash.
Currently have a decent range of lenses but just wish that they would develop an all-in-one. Heard that some organic lens that replicates the eye was being developed.
Eyes as in optical eyes.
My current set of lenses are:-
-Canon EF-S 10-22mm wide angle
-Canon EF-S 60mm Macro
-Lumix 14-45mm Four Thirds
-Lumix 20mm Four Thirds
Neck strap is also included so you can also hang the camera around your dolphin.
The camera looks like to be some officially licensed promo products by Canon. Comes in a snazzy box.
Inside the box are a few layers of sponge which house the camera and a USB extension cord.
Aoi-chan will model the camera in the rest of the photos while I go off of a shower. See you in the morning. Hope to launch the new Good Smile site tomorrow afternoon.
