Your Japan Loot 2

EDIT: To answer some questions:
@"How did you get it bacK" - I brought a second empty carry-on luggage within my 1st checkable luggage. It was a smaller duffel bag and I was able to put 5 Nendoroids in side by side and then pack the sides with smaller things. The bigger items had to go in a second checkable luggage (which ended up being a big duffel bag I bought for $20 while I was there). I packed some extra clothes in with it to protect the boxes from being damaged. So, I went to Japan with 1 carry one, 1 checked. Came back with 2 carry-on, 2 checked.
@"Hope you didn't get taxed" - Didn't. I declared $700, which is substantially less than the value, but they told us, "No tax today" when we got there. Nice.
@"How much did you spend?" - I honestly can't say because I don't know. I can say that including the food and the hotel, AND the shopping, it was about $2000. That's excluding the plane ticket.
@"Staying in Hostels" - I stayed in a hostel which offered single rooms, twin rooms, and dorms. There were 5 of us, but 2 of us stayed in single rooms, 2 in a twin, and 1 in a dorn. I had my own room. When we detoured to Kyoto for 2 days we were able to put 5 in 1 dorm room all to ourselves. This is where I stayed in Tokyo.
@"Prices for certain items" - Saber Lily (5500 JPY no game), Fate Lucky Star (4500 JPY opened box), Comptiq Konata ($20 Knockoff), EVA Pinky (1500 JPY last year in Japan).
@"Is that an egg?" - No, it's that thing from Gintama, bought it for a friend.
So...I'm back from Japan (have been for the last 12 days actually). I only just got around to making a post on my blog about my trip. I thought maybe due to the shear overload of otaku-ness involved in my trip, that the fine folks of the DC.com community would like to hear about it.
I should mention, the most fun I had was cosplaying as the VOCALOID Kaito in public (Akihabara specifically). I'd go again next year just to do that. Maybe even bring different cosplays.
So head on over to my burogu to check out the rest.
And yes, that is my loot from Japan pictured above. More loot and stories @ my blog.
