Armored Trooper Votoms : Yabo no Roots (Roots Of Treachery), 1988, OVA. This Votoms OVA had some of the coolest mecha battles i've ever seen,it's pretty hard to find thou. Hopefully someone will release it on DVD soon.
oh my, I've seen this anime. Its really good, the story line is great. Just when you think you know something, its thrown way out and new things come up. This anime actually got me into subtitles. I don't really like subtitles, but I watched them with this one because it was worth it. It was onDemand for free from Anime Select channel. Sadly to say they never showed all of it and I really want to see all of it.
